Happy 1st Birthday Mason

My baby turned 1 on Friday. We had a great day out at my mom and dad's house. My grandparents made it up from St. Louis and we celebrated with friends and family. I can honestly say he had a very happy birthday. He even started this new giggle. It's slightly hilarious and somewhat diabolical.

Swimming

We went swimming today. The kids are little fish! They love the water and love the jet ski!

Soccer

Casey is also in soccer. Notice what a midget she is!

Father's Day

I have never spent a Father's Day at home with my dad. We are always in Burlington, Iowa working the music festival along the river. With the flooding this year, they were shut down and came home on Friday instead of Monday. We had a great day on the beach at my parent's house.

Ballet

Casey started a ballet and tap class with her BFF Madelyn. It's on Thursdays. They had a blast. They mostly hugged and goofed off with eachother. Amy and I almost died laughing when they started booty dancing to the High School Musical 2 sound track. Not so much the dainty ballerinas.

We took a short vacation over the weekend. We left Thursday morning and got back this afternoon. We visited the Indianapolis Children's Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, Newport Aquarium (by Cincinatti), went on a riverboat ride, saw Kung-Foo Panda at a Drive-In, and went to a water park. After 5 days with my family 24 hours a day, I was very happy to get home. For those of you that get to see Casey often, you are aware of this "quark" she has where she shakes her hands and wiggles her fingers. She does this when she is VERY excited or nervous. Note it in some of these pictures. Also note that Mason has started doing it.
